By accessing our website (nodespace.ai) or using the NodeSpace desktop application, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Preview Software

NodeSpace is currently in alpha. This means:

  • Features may change, break, or be removed without notice
  • You may encounter bugs, crashes, or data inconsistencies
  • The software is provided for evaluation and feedback purposes
  • We recommend maintaining backups of important data

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Accuracy, reliability, or completeness
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NODESPACE AND ITS CREATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the software
  • Any damages resulting from bugs, errors, or software failures

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the software (if any).

Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the software in compliance with applicable laws
  • Maintain backups of your data
  • Use, copy and modify the source code only as the Functional Source License permits
  • Not use the software for any unlawful purpose
  • Report bugs and issues to help improve the software

Your Data

NodeSpace is designed to keep your data local. You retain full ownership of all content you create. We do not access, collect, or store your notes or documents. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Source and licence

NodeSpace is source-available software. The source code is on GitHub under the Functional Source License (FSL-1.1-Apache-2.0), and each version becomes available under Apache 2.0 two years after its release. These Terms of Service apply to your use of the compiled application and our website. Where these terms and the licence differ about the source code, the licence governs.

Intellectual Property

The NodeSpace name, logo, and branding are our property. The software code is licensed under the Functional Source License (FSL-1.1-Apache-2.0), as specified in the LICENSE file in the repository.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. The current version is always available on this page.

Termination

You may stop using NodeSpace at any time. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access for violations of these terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Berlin, Germany.
